(I can’t really count Mount Rushmore since I didn’t go in, but just took a photo from the road. *grin*)
So… fifteen national parks and a tribal park. Oh, and that’s not counting Shenandoah NP and Great Smoky Mountains NP, which I visited on the way from Pennsylvania to Alabama. Wheee!

Glad you made it home w/o any problems. Going to put together your thoughts and feelings after having completed your journey?
I won’t be able to make such a trip for a few years since I have another rugrat on the way but if you could post some tips I’d sure appreciate it, because I’m really wanting to do something like this eventually.
